Our Continuous Plug Flow fixed bed system is the best performing platform for catalyst evaluation available. Manufactured with no compromise, it offers catalyst evaluation at the most stringent temperature conditions, over a catalyst bed length of 50mm. The sample is loaded and supported by a quartz sinter, one in each reactor tube. Stainless steel, Hastelloy C276 and quartz glass tubes are all available options.
The plug flow reactor platform may be configured in multiples of six; the system construction is in quartz, ceramic and stainless steel for the feed and product sections.
The design addresses reactor loading, a single reactor is loaded into the heating zone and connected to the gas supply in seconds with no disruption to the catalyst bed.
The heaters for the reactors operate independently. Class 1 thermocouples measure the gas preheat and the exit gas temperatures.
