Robot Assistant works 24/7, offers a load carrying capability of 3kg, moves repeatedly and reliably to within 0.1mm, recognizes motion, takes video images and does not argue with management. The design and development of hardware offers a step change improvement in laboratory automation through the use of leading 6-coordinate robotics and process vision technology.
Robot Assistant replaces human resource on mundane repetitive tasks reducing injury and increasing productivity. Process reports can be distributed to end-users by Email and the working operation is visible on the Internet.
This is an example of innovation and engineering integration, providing data on downstream processing operations with no human resource.
